8/24/07..The lighthouse at Duluth Harbor by the Aerial Lift Bridge.  We spent the day in Duluth on our way to Tettegouche State Park for our last camping trip of the summer.  See video of this trip on video links section

At the Lake Superior Zoo.  This is now my favorite zoo in Minnesota.  They have a nice collection of animals and a lovely setting.

Hiking back to camp we had to climb Two Step falls and wade through the river to shave a mile off the trek back.

Nathaniel loves climbing on rocks...either river rock these or the craggy shores of Lake Superior.  He is never happier (except when playing with Legos).

Chris hiking toward the Cascades.  This is the prettiest waterfall at Tettegouche.  Very secluded and this was our first (but certainly not last) hike to them.

Looking at our secret tadpole spot on Lake Superior.  We were at this same spot 6 weeks before in July....and found tadpoles here.  Now in August we still found tadpoles and frogs - the next generation.
