Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2008

Ludwig Top Memories for 2008

• Camping on the North Shore (all)
• Going to Legoland in California (Nathaniel)
• Our trip to Arizona and California in February (all)
• Fall camping trip to the cabin at Jay Cooke State Park (all)
• Learning to play the clarinet! (Annabelle)
• Napping in the hammock! (Christopher)
• Discovering new gorgeous state parks in far northern Minnesota (Christina)

Annabelle

• Settling in to life at a new school, the consolidated intermediate school.  5th and 6th graders from 4 elementaries stream together to form this giant school.  There are lots of challenges...like leaving for the bus at 7 a.m., lots of  homework, and the stress of real grades!
• Annabelle joined band this fall and is learning to play the clarinet.
• She is in the church choir and is doing a few dramas with the Wooddale Drama team this fall.
•  She is in theatrical dance class.  They are working on the following numbers: "Put on a Happy Face" and "Kids" from Bye-Bye Birdie and "Take a Chance on Me" from Mama Mia.

Nathaniel

• Doing great in 1st grade!
• Legos are still his favorite past time.
• Loves reading funny books with mom.
• Looking forward to spring soccer season.

Some things we are looking forward to in the coming months:

• Nathaniel's 7th birthday

• A winter escape to Washington D.C. and Florida
