5/13/07...We spent Mother's Day putting out the vegetable garden.

Annabelle dressed as Marie Curie for the Biography Fair at school.  Annabelle worked very hard researching Marie's life and trying to understand radioactivity (mom did too!)

After many months of late nights and weekends - our garage remodel is finally done!  Here are some shots of the finished product.

5/27/07...Our first official picnic of the summer - at Chutes and Ladders park!

Watching a red tailed hawk at the Richardson Nature Center.  Annabelle and I fled when they brought out 2 mice for it to eat. The boys watched the whole thing and found it fascinating!

Digging in the pond for critters!  A class at the Richardson Nature Center where we scooped up pond muck with a net and found all sorts of critters!  Just some of what we found: dragonfly and damselfly nymphs, giant water bug, leeches (yuck!) and snails.

Chris and Annabelle ended the day with a canoe ride!  I really wanted to go too - but Nathaniel refused to try the canoe so I stayed ashore with him.  I hope by the end of the summer to share a picture with all 4 of us on board!
