1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup 92 sticks) butter, room temp

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Mix dry ingredients (first 4) in med sized bowl
  3. In large bowl, beat butter 1 minute on med-high until creamy. Add sugars; beat until fluffy, aprox 2 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla until blended.
  4. On low speed, beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in chips and walnuts.
  5. Drop by heaping tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake at 375 until lightly golden, 9-11 minutes.

Yield: 36 cookies.

*Can freeze dough balls….To bake from frozen, simply increase baking time by a few minutes.
