1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. flour

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cream together the shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Add the remaining ingredients. Drop tablespoonsful on greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes.

Place 1 tablespoon between 2 cookies:

2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp

4 tsp. flour

4 tsp. milk

1 1/2 c. Crisco

Cream together. Add 4 cups 10X sugar.
