9/1/06...Harvesting the Kennebec potatoes. The only crop we had
success with - the animals ate everything else. |
We had 35 potatoes from 8 plants. Some were real whoppers and
some were the size of gumballs. |

9/8/06...Nathaniel at his locker at school. We visited for a
conference with his teachers before school starts Monday. |
Nathaniel with his teachers. We feel very good about this
school. His class has 17 students, but there are 5 teachers in the
room at most times - so that is like a 3-to-1 ratio. Far left is his
Occupational Therapist, on the other side of Nathaniel is his Special Ed.
teacher and the regular classroom teacher is at far right. |
Nathaniel with Miss Nancy (in brown) - his main teacher. Miss
Kathy is the Occupational Therapist. |

9/11/06...Nathaniel ready to leave for his first day of school.
He did great! |
9/12/06. Nathaniel and I had "Zoo Day". We made a
zoo out of lincoln logs and filled the stalls with our plastic animal
collection. Next, Nathaniel figured out what letter each animal
started with and he wrote the letter on a card. Finally - we read a
big pile of zoo-themed books! |
|
9/24/06...Grandad was in town for a conference, so we were treated to a
quick Sunday afternoon visit with him. |
