We caught a late flight into D.C. on Friday night, arriving
at the hotel after midnight. Day 1 was the next day, Saturday.
It was a whirlwind 3 days of sightseeing, before we flew to Florida on
Tuesday. |
DAY 1
American History Museum, Capitol Building and
Supreme Court (outside only), U.S. Botanic Gardens, Hirshhorn Sculpture
Museum, Natural History Museum.

DAY 2 A
huge day. White House (outside only), Air and Space Museum, National
Gallery of Art, Smithsonian Castle and 3 mile memorial walk: Washington
Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial and Jefferson
Memorial. Plus the 15 block walk to the hotel...I'd guess we hiked a
good 8 miles that day. |

Chris got up early to stand in line for tickets to get in the Ford's
Theatre for a special President's Day event. |

through the events of the assignation. |
