Week in Review February 24, 2002
Monday - Presidents Day...and Daddy's last day of vacation time. We had a nice day at home. The weather was gorgeous, so we went to the park in the afternoon. Sad to go back to reality tomorrow.
Tuesday
- Back to work and school. Annabelle loved doing the
"drive-up" option at preschool - where mommy drops her off at a
special door where an aid is waiting for her. Even though "Day
1" was a success...we were all glad to see Daddy when he came home.
Wednesday
- Library day! Annabelle got to get up in front of her storytime group and
tell everyone about her baby brother. She was very proud indeed.
Mommy actually got out of the car with both kids by herself! It was nice
to see friends at the library and pick out our stack of books for the
week.

Thursday
- Preschool day again. Mommy enjoys having this small block of time
for herself and Nathaniel! Annabelle loves her "Na-Na"!
Here she is helping out with a diaper change. Nathaniel despises
diaper changes...I think its that cold, wet wipe! He screams the entire
time...to the point where he loses his breath. I try to comfort him, sing
to him, give him his pacifier...nothing works. As soon as the diaper tape
is sealed...he settles right back down...before I even pick him up. If
anyone has any tips for me...please e-mail!
Friday
- Spent all morning bathing both kids. They were a sweet smelling
bunch! We enjoyed a nice lunch together. Glad its Friday!
Saturday
- Mommy spent most of the morning caring for Nathaniel and trying to clean
the house (hard to do with a newborn in a frontpack!) Nathaniel was still
a bit fussy from Mommy's double faux-paux...bean burritos with a half a
jar of salsa...followed by a Boca Burger (soy patty) the next night. He
was gassy!!! Mommy learned her lesson. Annabelle and Daddy went to
Sam's Club to stock up on a few things. The weather was gorgeous...went to
the park after naps until dinnertime!
Sunday
- Church and a quiet family day at home. Very cold and blustery
day! We made oatmeal cookies after lunch and lit a fire. What a
great week!
