Week in Review March 17, 2002
Stomach Flu!
Our house was plagued by the stomach flu for most of last week. Annabelle fell first...on Saturday night. Then Chris was next...in the middle of the night on Sunday. I fell last ...on Monday afternoon...and I fell the hardest. I was down with it until Wednesday. Thankfully...Chris and I were never incapacitated at the same time!
Grandma Rudy!
Things looked up mid week as we recovered and looked forward to Grandma Rudy's arrival (my mom). She was ushered in by the worst snowstorm we've had this winter....but was safely at our house by the time the snow started causing trouble. We only got about 10 inches...but it was messy Thursday night.
Annabelle
had an enormously good time with Grandma Rudy...who was her personal play slave
for 3 whole days. We didn't leave the house...except for a short jaunt to
the library on Saturday morning. The rest of the time was spent playing,
playing, playing! Puppet shows, dress up sessions, beauty shopping,
coloring together, playing in the snow...Grandma Rudy did it all. Be

Nathaniel
was also glad to meet Grandma Rudy for the first time...although he didn't
really get equal face time this visit. Maybe next time!
We were sad to see her go today (Sunday)...but already are looking forward to her next visit.

Annabelle is "Friend of the Week" at Preschool.

Chris' parents arrive for a visit on Friday.
