Week in Review March 3, 2002
Annabelle Had a fantastic week. The high point of the week was "Dad's Night" at preschool. A special night where the dads come (no moms or siblings!) to play and receive some special treatment. Annabelle made some special crafts at school for the occasion...including a picture of her dad and an interview (conducted and recorded by her teacher) about her dad. Lots of precious "pearls" were recorded there....like what her dad does at work..."Works all day and night and then comes home and goes to bed"...or my favorite...how big is your dad?..."Almost as big as my mom!". Sorry we don't have any pictures to share...our new digital camera is broken already! (see below) Nathaniel Well...what can I say? The boy eats, poops and sleeps! He is growing...in fact outgrew his first newborn onsie this week at 3 weeks of age. He is very long...and has very chubby cheeks! We may have solved the diaper change dilemma. As I said last week...he despises diaper changes...screams to the point that you'd think I were pinching him! Well...we switched to warm water and paper towels...instead of cold Huggies wipes. It seems to have helped. I don't know if it was the cold or the wipes that were bothering him....but it is definitely better!
Our digital camera is broken! We are so sad! The flash on it is broken. It blasts full power every time...so flash pictures are just a big white image. We called Casio and they will fix it. But...we have to send it to New Jersey and it will be gone for about 4-6 weeks. We also found out that Ubid.com (where we bought the camera) is NOT an authorized retailer. They don't know where Ubid.com is getting them...and they have received a disproportionate number of service calls on cameras sold through them. Casio was very nice and is still honoring the warranty. The good news is that the camera still takes non-flash pictures...so we can take daytime photos. We will probably send it off in the next month or so...but we can't stand to be without it...we are hooked! Next Week
