Holiday 2003

Ahhh...the holidays...my favorite time of the year.  I love the baking, decorating, getting together with friends.  This was a great holiday season...and by noon on Christmas Day, Nathaniel finally figured out what "open presents" meant!  The only downer was that I came down with the flu at the beginning of December (the day I was set to get my flu vaccine!).  I was sick with it through most of the season....but am finally feeling better!  So sorry this greeting is a bit late getting out!

Annabelle

Annabelle continues to thrive in kindergarten.  I'm so thankful for her school and teacher.  It tops my list of blessings this year.  She is still into dramatic plays, drawing and art.  She also loves reading, although she still prefers to be read to than to struggle with the words on the page.  She is my sunshine!

Nathaniel is turning into quite the little character.  He adores his big sister...and she is kind enough to indulge him in his selfish whims. He is really talking now...such a fun age.  He is into trucks, trains and busses...anything with wheels!  Thankfully, he also loves to read books - we usually cuddle and read for an hour or more each morning after we get Annabelle on the bus.  One of my favorite times of the day!

Goodbye to an old friend...

6Sadly, our 22 year old cat Woozle,  passed away over Thanksgiving weekend.  She was my kitty since I was a young girl.  The best pet you could ever hope for and she will be greatly missed.  We are thankful that she died peacefully at home with us at her side.

Next Update...Spring.

  • Snow fun!

  • Nathaniel's 2nd birthday!

  • Valentine's Day
